A project for a private client to convert a grade II listed stone barn complex into a residence and private gallery space for a collection of modern art. The project converts the barn in a contemporary way using a palette of glass, steel and stone, carefully integrated with the historic fabric. Mezzanines are added in the main space laterally along the full length of the barn to ensure that the volume of the space is left uninterrupted.
