We are experts in the field of education. We have advised numerous local authorities, academy trusts and private schools. We believe that architecture has the power to improve children’s life chances for the better.
Commercial
We understand the economic drivers behind commercial development believe that good, high quality architecture can dramatically improve project outcomes. We have worked with many large organisations, within many different commercial sectors including office spaces, housing developments, retail, masterplanning and placemaking.
Cultural + Community
We have designed numerous art galleries, private and public. We have advised a number of community groups on their projects, working closely with them believing that the project should be led by the needs and aspirations of that community.
Client Advisor
We provide experienced & specialist advice that will put you in control of your own construction project. Some of the most important decisions are made right at the start of a construction project, before you have even started the planning process. We will be with you throughout each stage of the project to give you the support and direction you need to continue to make good decisions throughout your project. Our goal is to help you fulfil the aims and requirements you have set out to achieve with your project. Our team is highly experienced in working with clients both in the private and public sectors.
We have worked with many of the major local authorities including Birmingham City Council, Nottingham City Council, Hertfordshire County Council, Metropolitan Borough of Rotherham and London Borough of Hackney. We have advised private sector clients, notably recently, Criterion Capital on their build to rent programme.
Design Review
Design Review is an increasingly important part of ensuring your project obtains planning consent. We are highly experienced in producing planning applications and attending design review sessions. We have built up huge experience and expertise in this process. Jonathan Ellis-Miller has been a member of many design review panels including the following panels:
CABE, Inspire East, Cambridge City Council, London Borough of Enfield, London Borough of Hackney, North West Design Review Panel + Places Matter!
Jonathan Ellis-Miller has also served as an accessor for RIBA Awards and has chaired numerous RIBA Award panels.
